Makita 40V Max 4.0Ah Brushless Cordless Lawn Scarifier Kit
The 40V Max brushless lawn scarifier (UV001G) is a powerful & lightweight lawn scarifier designed to effectively remove layers of thatch and scarify the top layer of soil to allow for more nutrients, water and oxygen to penetrate the soil and improve overall lawn health throughout the year. The spring tine assembly is designed to gently remove thatch layers & lift lateral growth before mowing to prevent the lawn from becoming spongy and matted. The scarifying assembly has hard blades designed to cut down into the top layer of soil more aggressively removing and lifting thatch while also thinning out the root zone of the lawn and allowing healthier, stronger roots to form.
Simple height adjustment from +5mm down to -12mm provides 18 increments to most effectively operate the blades to suit the application without damaging the lawn. Visible indicators for 5, 0, -4, -8 and -12mm makes identifying the current height and adjusting easy. Quick release handles allow for compact storage when not in use and only 550mm long without grass catcher attached. This is a Kit/Combo. Batteries & Charger are Included.

This battery features digital communication not only between the battery & the charger, but also between the tool & battery, relaying tool specifications to optimise tool performance. The higher battery output is a genuine solution for heavy industrial users allowing for continuous high demand activity over extended periods of time.
Built to be highly durable, the XGT batteries feature a heavy duty cell casing significantly improving the batteries impact resistance. Along with this casing, the water resistance has been significantly increased with intricate 3 layer moisture protection shield protecting the cells from water ingress. The 40V Max Dual Port Rapid Charger provides fast simultaneous charging for Makita high output 40V Max XGT batteries. The newly designed optimum charging system is able to achieve optimised fast charging by feeding real time battery data, such as battery condition and temperature with the charger. Dual cooling fans significantly reduce charging time as both the battery and charging circuit are cooled, allowing the charger to perform consecutive fast charges. Ensuring users have cross compatibility with the 18V LXT platform the DC40RB is compatible with the charging adaptor ADP10 (optional accessory). With this adaptor the DC40RB is able to rapid charge 18V LXT batteries up to 27% faster than 18V rapid charging models. Ensuring the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
