If there is air trapped in the flow path of the grease, the tool will be unable to dispense grease accurately & efficiently. In order to avoid inaccurate grease dispensation, purge the air before each use.

To purge the air loosen the valve for the air to drain. Then fasten the valve again as soon as grease begins to leak out of the valve.
